Description

We are looking for two project managers who want to drive projects aimed at the rural areas of Blekinge.

The positions are temporary and are placed in the Rural Development Unit. The Rural Development Unit has about 15 employees working in the areas of rural development, fishing, and animal welfare and food. The tasks in the unit are often very varied, and the assignments of the county administrative boards change over time, which means you have great opportunities to develop in different areas of work.

Responsibilities

You will be part of a team of project managers and administrators working with project and investment support within Sweden's strategic plan for the EU's Common Agricultural Policy. The projects may involve knowledge and cooperation projects aimed at the green sectors, for example, in agriculture, biodiversity, and animal welfare. Initially, you will coordinate and drive projects in the areas of Greppa Näringen and A Rich Cultivation Landscape, but other projects may also become relevant in the future, such as Ecological Production and Animal Welfare and Strengthened Competitiveness.

Qualifications

You should have:

• A university or college degree in agricultural sciences or other equivalent education.
• Good experience working as a project manager.
• A valid driver's license (B) as travel is required in the position.

It is advantageous if you have:

• Experience in handling support within the EU's Common Agricultural Policy.
• Experience in rural development.
• Experience working with EU-funded projects.

The role requires you to be able to plan and implement projects independently in a structured manner. The work requires good collaboration with colleagues both within and outside the county administrative board. To succeed in the role, you need to be communicative and comfortable speaking in front of larger groups, as well as planning and conducting training and conferences. This requires you to express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish.

You have a good ability to handle complex tasks and assessments and find it easy to understand and follow regulations and procedures. As a person, you appreciate flexibility and variety and can easily prioritize and switch between tasks.
